Job Opportunities at Spring Mount Ski Area

Spring Mountain Ski Area and Woodside Lodge at Spring Mountain are hiring

As the summer is coming to a close, there are a several job opportunities at Spring Mountain Ski Area and Woodside Lodge at Spring Mountain in Schwenksville, and the application process has begun.

From the Spring Mountain and Woodside Lodge's E-Blast:
Are you looking for a job?  Do you know someone who is? Well, we're hiring and interviews begin immediately! We are looking for folks older than 16 years old and we particularly enjoy interviewing the more "mature" crowd who have experience in the working world.

Whether this will be your first job, or you're retired and looking for something fun to do, or you just need to pick up some extra hours, fill out an application today!

Benefits include Season Passes (for self and possibly dependents), discounts for food and items sold at the Ticket Counter, and a really fun work environment!

(The policy at Spring Mountain is to give those who work successfully at Scream Mountain in October the first shot at the Winter Positions at Spring Mountain)

Available Positions:
SCREAM MOUNTAIN
Actors and Actresses - to play the scenes on the Haunted Hayride and Haunted Walk. 
Chair Lift Operators for the Haunted Walk - must be 18 or older.
Those applying for Scream Mountain MUST be available all 14 nights that we are open. They are October 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, and 28.

SPRING MOUNT SKI AREA
Ski and Snowboard Instructors - especially looking for folks home during the day for our weekday shifts. If you can ski or board we can teach you to teach.
Ticket Sales
Equipment Rental
Security/Ticket Checkers - 18 or older
Ski Patrol - requires substantial training
Restaurant/Cafeteria
Lift Operators - Must be at least 18
Snowmakers/Maintenance
Parking Attendants

WOODSIDE LODGE AT SPRING MOUNTAIN
Bussers - Clear and reset tables Wed., Fri., and Saturdays from 5:00 - 9:00 or 10:00 (App says 18 but may be 16 and older)
Dishwashers - Friday and Saturday Nights

Although we are not hiring Wait Staff, Bartenders, Musicians,  Chefs or Line Cooks at this time, please feel free to submit an interest in these positions. If something should open up, we will contact you.


The Company is Looking for:

8. Ability to Accept and Learn From Criticism - Will you be able to handle criticism? Are you coachable and open to learning and growing as a person and as a professional?

9. Flexibility/Adaptability - Are you able to adapt to new situations and challenges? Will you embrace change and be open to new ideas?

10. Working Well Under Pressure - Can you handle the stress that accompanies deadlines and crises? Will you be able to do your best work and come through in a pinch?

Also, all staff must be willing to submit to drug testing for the safety of guests.
