Local Scout's Eagle Project Collects Almost a Ton of Hygiene and Cleaning Supplies for Manna on Main Street

Matthew Harter of Boy Scout Troop 303, sponsored by Corpus Christi Parish, earned his Eagle Scout rank by helping Manna on Main Street.

Boy Scout Troop 303, sponsored by Corpus Christi Parish, recently held a Eagle Scout Court of Honor for its 51st Eagle Scout, Matthew Harter. Matt’s Eagle project was a collection of personal hygiene and cleaning supplies for Manna on Main Street's clients. Matt, a 2016 graduate of Pope John Paul High School, and current student at Penn State University, led volunteers who canvassed two neighborhoods, and who collected items at his home parish. As a result, Manna on Main Street received 1,963 pounds of donated items, one of the largest single drives in Manna's history. Thank you, Matt, for your service to our community.
