Marino Construction Headquarters One Step Closer
Planning commission approves recommendation for conditional use and subdivision plans on Marino Construction headquarters.

Skippack Planning Commission met Monday night to review a second round of considerations for the proposed headquarters of Marino Properties Management Corporation along 1200 Cressman Road.
Pete Cokonis, engineer with Site Engineering Concepts, LLC, contracted by Marino, presented his revisions. The board deliberated the implications of the usage of the property, which will include the housing of several large construction vehicles. Township Engineer Tim Woodrow addressed the concerns of widening the road and extending the sidewalks to meet the curb entering Lower Salford Township. Woodrow also addressed the need for a traffic impact survey, which has yet to be conducted.
The Marino Corporation, having met a vast majority of the conditions for usage as well as for the acceptance of the subdivision plans, won the commission's recommendation and will now be sent to the Board of Supervisors for review.

Nick Cucé, counsel for New Cingular, spoke to the board about adding three more antennae to the existing three, as well as adding privacy fences around the tower on the property, bringing it up to code.
Zadlo questioned the current height of the tower, which is 112 ft., in violation of a township structural regulation of 110 ft. Zadlo asked that the tower be lowered to meet the code, which was agreed to by Cucé.
