Members of NCL, Inc, Valley Forge Chapter Awarded Advocate of the Watershed by Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy
National Charity League, Inc. Honored By Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy

Members of National Charity League, Inc., Valley Forge Chapter were recently awarded the 2016 Advocate of the Watershed Award by Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy at their yearly benefit dinner held at RiverCrest Golf Club and Reserve on Thursday, October 13th. The evening included a cocktail reception and silent auction to benefit the PWC, followed by dinner and an awards presentation. On hand to receive the award for NCL, Inc. were Debby Labant, PWC liason, and Lauren Tobin, Treasurer, for the mother and daughter charity organization.
The Advocate of the Watershed Award, was given to the mother and daughter members of NCL, Inc., Valley Forge Chapter, for their invaluable support of the conservancy in a variety of ways. Their volunteer efforts range from the construction of bird feeders to planting trees, to participation in stream clean ups and invasive plant removal. Since the beginning of their partnership with PWC in 2015, the members of NCL, Inc. have supported the Conservancy with 275 hours of volunteer work.
"National Charity League mothers and daughters have been reliable advocates, volunteers, partners and friends of the Conservancy. The kindness demonstrated by the mothers and daughters from this group is deeply cherished and we are always excited to work with them," said Ryan Beltz, Executive Director of the PWC.
