National Charity League, Inc. Donates Pajamas During PJ Palooza Event

The Valley Forge Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. held their annual "PJ Palooza" event, Friday, September 23rd, at Arcola Intermediate School, located at 4001 Eagleville Road, Eagleville, PA. Mother and daughter members who attended the event brought donations of over 175 pairs of new pajamas for needy children to support the mission of their partner, Cradles to Crayons. Keeping in theme of the event, members came dressed in pajamas and played the game of Tenzies before concluding with their monthly business meeting. 100% of the donations collected will be used to support the mission of Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization providing children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive.

The members of NCL, Inc. volunteer their help at Cradles to Crayons throughout the year to inspect, sort and pack the items they collect for quick distribution into the hands of children who need them most. This is just one of many special projects and collections where the members of NCL work alongside C2C, including such things as hosting an off-site collection drive of new and gently-used children's clothing, creating super hero capes, tutus and headbands and organizing collections of new school supplies to donate.
