PV Martial Artists to Compete in World Championship

Five PVHS students are among fifteen local athletes from  in Limerick, PA who will be competing for the US National TaeKwon-Do Team in the International TaeKwon-Do Federation World Championships August 8 – 12, 2012 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. World qualifiers were held in March in Houston TX.  All fifteen athletes from Dragon Star secured a spot on TEAM USA and many will be competing in multiple events. It is expected that 45 plus countries will be sending National Teams to compete at these World Championships, TEAM USA consists of more than 100 competitors from around the country representing states such as: PA, TX, CA, AK, MO, OH, NM, KS, NV and others.
