Do you ever feel that you are limited by the “cards you’ve been dealt?” Do you sometimes feel stuck with nowhere to progress because of small things like the amount of money in your bank account, your packed schedule, or your relationships? Are you stuck in a cycle of work, sleep, and eat? Take a moment to ask yourself these questions. If you are not currently in this cycle, you are probably able to relate to it at some point in your life. It is very easy and understandable to get stuck here. After all, these things do make up our present circumstances. However, there is a miracle to be learned through all of this. Even though your current circumstances are what they are, your thoughts are not! You can choose to start thinking different thoughts to get yourself out of the rut you’ve been “dealt.” So, how do you do this?

First, you have to come to the conclusion that your life is no longer providing the conditions for your dreams to manifest. Then, you have to get clear on what those dreams are! What do you really want in your life? This is where the fun begins- and it all starts with the power of personal choice!
To discover and further attract what you want in life, you must start paying attention. This includes noticing what you like and what you do not like. The truth is: you are allowed to have personal choice, and this means you are allowed to choose what you like and do not like! Many times we focus so hard on trying to stay positive that we lose momentum and direction because we have nowhere to go- we block ourselves off from the valuable feedback our dislikes can give us. This is why it is so important to notice what you do not like in your life. These objects give you direction and help you realize what you do like! When you find a steady idea of what you want in your life, of course give more of your energy and good feelings to that, but do not ignore the things that give you feedback to where you are in your journey and what else you may require to live the life of your dreams.

Try this out! Shift your awareness so that you can begin noticing what you like and what you do not like during your day. When you find yourself complaining about something, acknowledge you do not like it, pick something you would rather have instead, and then focus on that! Honor the value of your own opinions because they give you constant feedback on what you really want. At the end of the day, not everybody wants the same thing, and that is a blessing. You are allowed to have your own likes and dislikes. Use their feedback wisely and you will soon find that as your circumstances change, the “cards you were dealt” are now the cards that you chose for yourself. Enjoy!
