Valley Forge Family Day To Coincide With Pope Visit

Your guide to the special event to be held during the World Meeting of Families.

The Valley Forge Family Day has been scheduled for September 25 at Valley Forge National Historical Park.

The day is organized and sponsored by the park and the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board.

It aims to welcome residents and visitors from around the world during the World Meeting of Families in September, the same event which Pope Francis is attending.

The event will run from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. o that Friday.

Free activities for visitors of all ages will include living history demonstrations, natural and historical presentations, ranger-led programs, interactive learning games and trolley tours.
