One of the joys of small town living is the opportunity to take part in a community parade—to march with an organization, express your creativity by designing a float or costume, play music in a band, dance, or work behind the scenes to make the parade happen. The creation of these wonderful events brings families, friends and neighbors together and builds a shared sense of community and celebration.
All area residents, groups, and non-profits are invited to join our parade committee and/or take part in our 2013 parade!
Last year over 1,000 area residents participated in the parade, and over three thousand watched. The parade provides an opportunity for you to become involved with a fun committee and help us make the parade happen or to march, decorate a float, ride or strut your stuff in another creative way.
