Wartman Road Construction to Begin in June

Perkiomen Township board approves the rehabilitation of Wartman Road beginning mid-June

The Perkiomen Township Board approved a bid from Allan A. Myers to begin the construction project to rejuvinate Wartman Road in its entirety.

The project will include storm sewer work along the road, as well as an entire overlay of Wartman Road from Township Line Road to Bridge Street, and Bridge Street to Route 29.

Out of the nine bids placed, the low bid of $414,005.50 from Allan A. Myers was the contractor that was chosen for this project.

The township will share some of the cost with PennDOT.

The project is schedule to start mid- to late-June thru July.
