With the Summer Season ending, this weekend is a great time for your Fall Outside Cleanup. Starting your cleaning duties early, will leave you with more time to truly enjoy this fall season!
- Check and Clean all Gutters: Don't forget the downspouts too!
- Clean and Store Patio Furniture: Thoroughly clean your patio furniture before putting it away. Depending on the material of your furniture, it may be a good time to store your furniture now before the colder temperatures of the fall and winter hit.
- Drain and Store your Garden Hose: Make sure to drain and store your garden hose before freezing temperatures arrive to avoid damaging your hose.
- Touch up Exterior Paint: With Summer's extreme temperatures behind us, the fall season is a perfect time to touch up your home's exterior paint.
- Clean Windows: Deep clean all the window's glass as well as check around the windows for weather stripping. If needed, seal the cracks around the windows to prevent air leaks.
- Transfer all boxed fertilizers or garden chemicals to plastic containers to avoid deterioration of the cardboard boxes they were originally stored in.
