A Very Sarris Christmas

A customer stepped up the register, chocolate-covered pretzel poppers in hand, and told the young woman behind the counter, "Boy, it's busy in here, huh?"

The  cashier just smiled and said, "You should have seen it earlier."

Indeed, the  candy store was packed with people roaming up and down the aisles, grabbing up brightly wrapped boxes of chocolates and goodies packaged in red and green bags.

A giant chocolate castle caused at least one couple to pause as they roamed the rows of confections and other Christmas merchandise earlier this week.

A cluster of huge stuffed animals (including at least one reindeer) stand vigil around a plush Santa on one side of the shop. Parked on the other side is an even larger stuffed bear—this one donning a Sarris T-shirt.

Haven't been there this season? Still in need for stocking stuffers or a gift to satisfy the sweet tooth of a friend or family member? No worries. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Saturday (but closed on Christmas).
