Q: Who can apply for an absentee ballot?
A: Anyone with a good reason. Below are some frequent examples
- Work prevents you from being available at all on May 20 (example: Military, Emergency Services, Physicians, Poll worker )
- Work requires you to travel (example: Sales Reps, Consultants )
- Vacation
- Handicapped or nursing home
- Chronically ill or a planned surgery
Q: Can I still vote at my polling place if I find myself to be available?
A: You can still go to the polling place and you will be challenged (asked) to either have the absentee ripped up or leave it as is and go home.
