As a Junior Achievement volunteer, you will visit your assigned class in Peters Township once a week for a series of consecutive weeks. It involves teaching one group of students all day from a ready-made volunteer guidebook. All materials—including lesson plans—are given to the volunteer instructor in advance. There is one hour training for all volunteers at which time they will receive all materials to
prepare—at least two weeks in advance—to teach the 6-7 lessons you will lead throughout your time in the classroom.
The lessons focus on work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
