PT Senior Receives United Way's Student Volunteer Award

United Way of Washington County presented the M. Kathleen Ramsey Student Volunteer of the Year Award to Hannah Marie Gross, a senior at Peters Township High School.  Hannah amassed over 1,000 volunteer hours at various activities during her high school career.  A $1,000 scholarship named in honor of former PTSD Superintendent Dr. Howard Jack is included the award.  Ms. Gross will be attending Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois in the fall.  The award is named in memory of Kathy Ramsey, a co-founder of AccuTrex Products in Southpointe, who was an active United Way volunteer and loyal supporter and was killed in a plane crash in 1998.  The award was presented by Ian Ramsey, son of Kathy Ramsey.
