Perfect gentle classes for the new student just beginning the study of yoga and for any student who would like to re-visit the basics of a yoga practice. These classes provide a well-rounded yoga practice of pranayama (breathing exercises) along with a wide range of standing, seated, and reclining poses as well as simple inversions and pose flow sequencing. All classes end with a reclining relaxation and seated meditation. Pose modifications are provided as needed. The techniques learned can be practiced anywhere to help you manage stress, anxiety, and insomnia. All levels of yoga practioners (both men and women) welcome. *$15 drop-in once minimum class size is met.
