Free Professional Development- Librarian Day - Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) program coordinated by Waynesburg University

A free professional development workshop specifically designed for school librarians by the TPS program at Waynesburg University


Linking primary sources to literature, analyzing texts for deeper meaning, making literature more relevant, and promoting inquiry-based learning is motivating and enriching for students of all ages.



  • Learn how TPS - Waynesburg University can partner with School Librarians to meet classroom needs,

  • Identify specific Library of Congress resources to address the Common Core, and

  • Celebrate the key role that school librarians play as instructional resources.
