Washington Symphony Orchestra presents "Heroes" at Trinity High School for a salute to everyday heroes through music such as John Williams' "Olympic Fanfare and Theme" and Beethoven's heroic "Eroica." At this concert, you'll also hear Venetia's McKenna Barney perform her award-winning Mendelssohn selection that won her the 2011 WSO Young Artist Competition. Peters Township has a mother and son performing in this concert. Mary McBride is the WSO's principal flute and her son, Logan, a junior at Peters Township High School, will perform as a violinist.
