Relay For Life brings the community together with the common goal of fighting cancer. It is an event designed to increase cancer awareness while raising funds for the American Cancer Society for research towards a cure, advocacy, local patient services and community education programs to help prevent cancer.

Teams walk around the track during the event at their own pace. Each team sets up a site inside the stadium using the carnival theme. There is also a dinner for cancer survivors, live musical entertainment, survivors and caregivers laps and the luminaria ceremony honoring and remembering cancer victims.
