Meals On Wheels of Peters Township has been growing rapidly and now serves 190 clients in a wide area that includes Peters, Canonsburg, Houston, and parts of Eighty-Four, Finleyville, Bridgeville/S. Fayette, Upper St. Clair and Bethel Park. We are in urgent need of more volunteers to meet this growing demand for meals.
Drivers pick up meals at 10:30 am from our kitchen at 245 E. McMurray Road, above the Peters Township Fire Department, and are finished around 12:30 pm with their routes. Drivers are need for regular weekly routes and as occasional substitutes.
Other volunteer needs include kitchen helpers to work from 8:00-10:30 am, and homemade baked goods for our clients meals. Please call 724-969-1000 or visit our website www.mowpt.org for more information. Thank you!
