New Health Center in Peters Gives Women Strength
BioFit is aimed at helping women build strength and overcome bone density loss. The facility celebrates its grand opening this weekend.
A new center dedicated to helping women prevent and even reverse the effects of bone density loss due to osteopenia, a condition often
considered a precursor to osteoporosis, will celebrate its grand opening in Peters Township this weekend and next week.
BioFit, operating out of Lifestyle Health Group—located next to —is planning an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 and Monday, Sept. 12, and 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
“We invite all women in the community who are concerned about their bone health, suffer from osteopenia or osteoporosis, or know someone who does, to visit our center and meet current women who have increased their strength by more than 100 percent, and transformed their lives by using our program,” said BioFit chief
executive officer Michael Hanlon, D.C.

BioFit features the bioDensity System, a comprehensive and personalized approach to improving, measuring and tracking functional strength.
This system allows for maximum load delivery to the skeletal system, and the body's muscles to enable individuals (of any fitness level) to encourage gains in bone density and increase in overall body strength.

The bioDensity System load delivery is similar to that of an intense exercise, however, it carries almost no risk of injury.
With bioDensity exercise, the load is created solely by the individual, which is referred to as "isometric training." Regardless of how hard one exercises, the load involved is never beyond what is safe.
“The benefits of using the bioDensity System include the stop and reversal of bone density loss as a result of osteopenia and osteoporosis, a dramatic increase in overall body strength, increased vitality, increased mobility and increased stability,” Hanlon explained. “We have patients who have increased their strength by more than 150 percent in less than a year.”
BioFit is especially appropriate for women age 40 and older, especially post-menopausal women, who are concerned about their bone health, according to Hanlon.
In addition, the center is designed for women who have already been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis, and any woman who is searching for the most effective natural solution to stopping, reversing and preventing bone density loss.
The center also reaches out to women who currently take medication for bone density loss and would like a natural solution to treat their bone health, as well as women who continue to lose bone density despite their efforts at the gym.
There are several membership packages available at BioFit, and women who attend the open house will receive special membership options and promotions.
A membership to BioFit includes weekly use of the bioDensity System, weekly use of the state-of-the-art massage chairs, access to the complete line of high quality nutritional supplements designed to aid bone health and healthy aging, access to all of the monthly educational workshops, and the ability to connect with like-minded women to build friendships and motivation.
“BioFit is designed as a center that women can turn to not only when they want to dramatically increase their strength and bone density,
but also for trusted advice, empowerment and connections,” Hanlon said.
“We believe that BioFit will change the way women approach bone health and aging,” he said. “We have even received support and interest from individuals and groups who are working with us to take BioFit to a national level so that women all across the country will have access to this life-changing program.
"We are excited to have our primary center located in Peters Township and to be able to offer this service to women in our own community. Women have told us that they are so excited to be a part of a national movement that is beginning right in their own backyards.”
