New Peters Township High School Plans Advance
The Peters Township School District is seeking a construction manager for the project.

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Going full throttle to advance plans for a new Peters Township High School, the school district is soliciting proposals from potential construction managers for the project barely two weeks after hiring an architectural firm.
The district will accept proposals until Aug. 9 for the job, which will include conducting pre-construction evaluations, developing bid packages, devising a construction schedule and monitoring the actual building of the 285,000 square-foot, three-story building.
The $85 million school will be built on the 180-acre site of the former Rolling Hills Country Club on East McMurray Road. The district hopes to have the new building completed by October 2020.

Earlier this month, school directors hired Hayes Design Group of Robinson Township for the design development phase of the project.
The country club property is jointly owned by the school district and township. The township has hired an engineering firm to design a master plan to convert its portion of the property into what will be known as Peters Hill Park.
