New Peters Township High School: Progress Update Scheduled

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Interested in learning the latest details regarding construction of the new Peters Township High School? The Peters Township School District will hold an informational meeting on how the project is progressing Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. in the administration building.
The $90 million, 280,000-square foot school will be built on the former Rolling Hills Country Club property. District officials hope to have the building open for the 2020-21 school year.
The school will have three levels, with the main entrance on the upper floor and the other floors moving downward to the site grades. The building will have three wings, one each devoted to fine arts, academics and athletics.

The development will include a plaza for 30 buses, parking spaces for approximately 400 students, 200 staff parking spaces, 20 visitor parking spaces and 120 additional parking spaces in the bus plaza for use during after-hours events.
