Peters Township High School Commencement: What You Need To Know

Patch has the details on Peters June 16 graduation ceremony.

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Peters Township High School’s 341 seniors will graduate June 16.
Commencement will begin at 7 p.m. in the high school stadium, or in the event of inclement weather, in the high school gym.

Here’s everything you need to know about the big evening:

  • Parking

Plan to arrive early, as traffic is always heavy on commencement day. Parking will be available at the high school and at Pleasant Valley Elementary School. Staff members in golf carts will transport those who need assistance to the stadium. Parking shuttles will be available from Peters Township Middle School beginning at 5:30 p.m.

  • Stadium or gym?

If it’s necessary to move the ceremony indoors, parents will be notified via the district’s calling system on Friday afternoon. If commencement is held indoors, all guests must enter via the main entrance and proceed to the gym or the auditorium, where a live simulcast can be viewed.
Only ticketed guests will be admitted to the gym, which will open at 6:30.
