Peters Township High School Saying Hello To "Bye Bye Birdie"
The musical comedy will be staged next month by students.
PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Peters Township High School will stage the class Elvis Presley-inspired musical “Bye Bye Birdie” as its annual musical this year. The show, which debuted in 1960, was inspired by Presley receiving his draft notice in 1957.
“Bye Bye Birdie” will be performed March 15-17 at 7 p.m. and March 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Lie ticket sales will occur Feb. 10 and March 10 from 10 a.m.-noon in the high school lobby.
