Peters Township High School Senior Wins National Merit Scholarship

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Graduating Peters Township High School senior Anthony Biscardo is among 19 southwestern Pennsylvania high school students receiving National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges and universities across the country.

The awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship. This year, 182 higher education institutions are underwriting the program.

Biscardo, who will graduate next week, plans to attend Case Western Reserve University to study finance. Here’s who else received the scholarships, where they will attend college and their probable career choices:
