Peters Township High School Sextortion Scheme Leads To Adult Arrest
While probing an alleged sextortion operation at Peters High School, police became aware of an adult sexting with a teen boy.
PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA — A Washington County man has been charged with exchanging nude images with a teen boy who also is an alleged victim in a recent sextortion ring involving more than two dozen teens in Peters.
According to court records, Aaron White, 30, of Fallowfield, is facing felony charges of photographs of sex acts, communication with a minor, child sex abuse material and criminal use of a communications facility, as well as a misdemeanor count of corruption of a minor.
The Observer-Reporter of Washington reported that police found inappropriate photos and videos White allegedly sent to the 15-year-old boy during multiple interactions last summer via a social media app.

According to the newspaper, the boy with whom White allegedly communicated with also is an alleged victim in the "catfishing" and "sextortion" scandal that rocked the Peters community in February.
While posing as other people, former Peters Township High School student Zachariah Meyers allegedly induced the juveniles involved to produce and disseminate explicit images and videos of themselves, requested them to “engage in prohibited sexual acts,” then demanded $500 for not sharing the explicit materials.

Meyers currently is housed in the Washington County Jail as he faces more than 300 sex-related charges involving more than 20 underage victims .
White was not part of the sextortion scheme, but police became aware of his relationship with the 15-year-old while investigating the Meyers case.
White is being held in the county jail pending an Aug. 3 preliminary hearing.
