Peters Township High School Top 10 for Highest SAT Scores

The Pennsylvania Department of Education released a list of high schools' average SAT scores for 2012 and Peters Township High School made the top 10 again.

The Pittsburgh Business Times compiled a list of the top SAT scores for high schools in the Pittsburgh region. Here are the top 10:

1.       Upper St Clair High School

2.       North Allegheny Senior High School*

3.       Mt. Lebanon Senior High School

4.       Fox Chapel Area Senior High School

5.       Hampton High School*

6.       Peters Township High School*

7.       Pine-Richland High School

8.       Avonworth Senior High School*

9.       Franklin Regional Senior High School

10.     Quaker Valley High School

The noted (*) schools above all registered increases in scores over the previous year’s combined score. All others registered a decreased in scores. Peters Township’s increase was 1.4% overall and the school’s ranking was up from 7^th according to 2011 scores.
