School Board Holds Annual Meeting to Reorganize

A full, proposed agenda, including a Building and Grounds Committee meeting.

The Peters Township Board of Education will hold its annual reorganization meeting Monday night, as it prepares for another year.

All school boards are required under Pennsylvania School Code to hold a reorganization meeting at their first meeting in December. Monday night's meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the board room of the Administration Building. A meeting of the Buildings and Grounds Committee will follow at 7:15 p.m..

Expected to be discussed at the committee meeting are items such as Pleasant Valley Elementary's fields and other district construction needs, according to the announcement made at the November board meeting.

The board is expected to nominate and elect officers for the upcoming year, including president and vice president. Currently, Diane Ritter serves as board president and Cindy Golembiewski as vice president.
