1,007 Spot-Saving Traffic Cones Rounded Up By Philly Police
Officers of the 24th District are putting an end to parking spot saving by rounding up cones use to hold open spaces.

PHILADELPHIA — Parking in Philadelphia can be very difficult, and to ensure a spot, some Philadelphians deploy traffic cones to save parking spaces.
But one Philadelphia Police district has made an effort to level the parking playing field by seizing hundreds of spot-saving traffic cones.
Officers in the 24th District of the Philadelphia Police Department spend time rounding up 1,007 cones used to illegally hold parking spots, police said.

Twenty-Fourth District officers challenged officers in the 15th District to beat their 1,007 cones.
