1 Arrested, 2 Sought In Shooting That Left 7-Year-Old Critical

PHILADELPHIA — A 27-year-0ld Philadelphia man is facing attempted murder and related charges in connection with a shooting that left a 7-year-old boy in grave condition.
According to Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, Christopher Linder, 27, has been charged with attempted murder, tampering with evidence, aggravated assault, and related crimes after allegedly shooting 7-year-old Zamar hones on Saturday.
Linder shot Jones in an incident that occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on the 200 block of North Simpson Street, the DA's office said. Linder is accused of targeting an adult man in the shooting, which led to gunfire being exchanged. During the incident, Jones was shot in the head while on his porch.

Linder is also accused of stealing a vehicle to flee the shooting scene, according to the DA's office.
Two other people are sought in connection with the shooting, the DA's office said.

Anyone who has information about the shooting or the two suspects still at large are urged to contact Philadelphia Police by calling 911 or 215-686-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
