1 In Custody After Threat Made Toward Temple's Medical School
Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine is closed and all classes are canceled after a threat was directed toward the school.

PHILADELPHIA — A person is custody in connection with a threat made toward Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine, the university said Friday.
According to Temple, the LK School of Medicine closed and classes were canceled due to a threat made toward the school.
Temple said there is no threat posed toward the school now.

While the school of medicine is closed, activities at Temple University Hospital, including clinical practices, Temple Faculty Physicians, and the remainder of the Health Sciences Center Campus will continue as scheduled.
All essential employees should check with their Supervisors and plan to report to work.
