101 Philadelphia Public Schools Virtual Due To Staffing Issues
For the fourth day in a row, the School District of Philadelphia announced more schools are closing due to COVID-related staffing issues.
PHILADELPHIA — Wednesday night, the School District of Philadelphia announced two more schools are shifting to virtual learning through the rest of the week, bringing the total number of virtual schools to more than 100.
As of Wednesday night, 101 of the 339 schools in the district are learning virtually.
The district made the decision to close two more schools Wednesday night based on recent staffing data.

Any changes to in-person learning schools based on overnight data will be shared with families and staff at the impacted schools by 6 a.m. each day.
Changes based on staffing updates throughout the day will be shared by 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. each day.
