$120 Philly Cheesesteak Is Most Expensive In The US
Barclay Prime in Philadelphia offers the high-end cheesesteak with top-notch ingredients. Would you pay that much for a fancy cheesesteak?

PHILADELPHIA – According to CNBC's program "Secret Lives of the Super Rich," the world's most expensive Philly cheesesteak is made here in Philly (duh) and costs more than $100 a steak.
Barclay Prime steakhouse, located at 237 S 18th St. and part of the Starr Restaurants group, offers the gourmet steaks, priced at $120 each.
Without knowing the ingredients, you'd likely never know it was so pricey. (You can see a photo of the steak below.)

The cost from from the wagyu ribeye beef, foie gras, truffled cheese whiz and fresh baked sesame roll used to create the dish. Oh, and the half bottle of champagne that comes with each steak probably has something to do with it.
CNBC reports the wagyu beef alone costs $75 per pound.

"This is the money right here, this is the A5 waygu beef," Executive Chef Mark Twersky told CNBC. "It's so rich and flavorful."
There are tons of places to get a cheesesteak in Philadelphia, but Barclay Prime sets itself apart from the crowd with its one-of-a-kind steak.
