14 Roads Across Philadelphia Getting Upkeep Work Next Week

Crews will again be out taking care of deteriorated sections of road across Philadelphia. See work locations planned for next week.

PHILADELPHIA — PennDOT's work to fix deteriorated roads across the region will continue next week in Philadelphia.

Potholes and other road defects will be addressed on more than a dozen roads in the city next week.

As crews work to fix these roads, travel lanes will be restricted, PennDOT said.

Drivers should be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.

Below are Philadelphia roads targeted for work next week:

  • Interstate 95 and ramps;
  • I-76 and ramps;
  • Interstate 676 (Vine Street Expressway) and ramps;
  • U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard);
  • U.S. 1 (City Avenue);
  • U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue);
  • U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue);
  • Route 3 (Chestnut Street);
  • Benjamin Franklin Parkway;
  • Kelly Drive;
  • John F. Kennedy Boulevard;
  • Rhawn Street;
  • Aramingo Avenue; and
  • Harbison Avenue.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and workers safe.
