$1M-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At West Philly Store

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn on Jan. 30, 3-5-16-58-59, but not the yellow Mega Ball 11, to win $1 million

PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania lottery ticket good for $1 million was sold at a West Philadelphia business, according to officials.

A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Philadelphia sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million for the Tuesday, Jan. 30 drawing.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 3-5-16-58-59, but not the yellow Mega Ball 11, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.

Quick Stop Deli, 4832 Spruce St. in Philadelphia, will get a $5,000 selling bonus for selling the Mega Millions $1 million-winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed.
