Police said the vehicle's windows were broken and its license plate was missing. No one was hurt in the incident.
Residents on Arlington Street have since rallied behind the victim of Sunday's vandalism. Organizers of a GoFundMe campaign to aid the victim said he is handicapped and has lived on the block since 1995.
"This is completely unacceptable, organizers said. "As fellow members of this community, this is a violation that needs to be corrected."
So far, more than $14,000 has been raised to support the victim of the vandalism.
"There is no excuse for these actions committed especially for unsuspecting individuals that live in the community," the GoFundMe page reads. "Please help Rick and show support for our North Philadelphia residents!"
