$32K Taken In Philly Strong-Armed Robbery, 2 Sought: Police
Philadelphia Police said two masked men stole $32,000 in cash from a Rite Aid store manager who was en route to deposit the money.
PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for assistance in their search for two people involved in a strong-armed robbery that occurred Monday.
The incident occurred at about 3:15 p.m. Monday at 7200 Ogontz Ave.
Police said the victim told them she hailed an Uber ride to deposit $32,000 cash, as she is the manager of a Rite Aid store.

While en route to make the cash deposit, the Uber was struck from behind by another vehicle.
When the driver got out to assess the damage, two men in ski masks who were in the other vehicle came up to the Uber, opened the door, and stole the cash from the woman, police said.

The two masked men were seen in a silver or gray Honda CRV with a paper tag and a Lyft sticker on the passenger side of the windshield that was last seen in the area of Woolsteen Avenue and Beverly Road, police said.
That Honda was seen on city cameras following the Uber down Ogontz Avenue before the crash and robbery.
The suspects were only described as black men wearing all black clothing and ski masks.
