2 South Philly Spots Have Some Of PA's Best Strombolis: USA Today

Two South Philadelphia pizza joints were among the state's best places to get strombolis, according to USA Today. Have you tried them?

PHILADELPHIA – A USA Today ranking says two South Philadelphia pizza joints serve up some of the state's best strombolis.

The publication recently explored the places that serve the best stromboli in Pennsylvania, and two of them are right here in Philly.

Cacia's Bakery at 1526 W. Ritner St., came in fifth, and La Rosa Pizza at 2106 S. Broad St. came in sixth. Dino's Pizza of Warminster, Bucks County placed first overall.

The list was created as part of USA Today's "10 Best" series. That's when they select 20 nominees in various categories, and the 10 winners are selected through a popular vote.
