$20K Offered In 23-Year-Old's Killing Near Drexel
Everett Beaureguard was shot and killed near Drexel early Thursday. Authorities are offering a $20,000 reward in connection with his death.
PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are offering $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed a 23-year-old near Drexel Thursday.
According to police, Everett Beaureguard, 23, was shot and killed at about 12:24 a.m. Thursday on the 400 block of North 35th Street near Drexel's campus.
Police were called to the area for a report of gunshots and found Beaureguard, a Great Valley High School and Temple University graduate, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.

Beaureguard was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:01 a.m.
The suspect was described as a thin-built black man who was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with a full length front zipper, two pockets, and black pants.

Police said he is considered armed and dangerous and urge the public not to approach him if he is seen.
