4 Leap Day Babies Born At Jefferson Hospitals
Four Philadelphia-area families welcomed new additions on Leap Day 2024, according to Jefferson Health officials.

PHILADELPHIA — Babies born on the first day of the year often get celebrated as new additions to families when a new year kicks off.
While they are born on a unique day, a more unique birth is Feb. 29, Leap Day.
And four Philadelphia-area families welcomed their babies at Jefferson Health facilities on Leap Day 2024.

According to Jefferson Health officials, Siyon Davilla-Brown and Elias Robertson were born at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, Hugo Smoker at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and Lester Cruz at Jefferson Abington Hospital.
Siyon, 7 pounds 9 ounces, was born to mother Hanayah Brown and father Divonne Davilla at 12:56 a.m. Thursday. The family is from Philadelphia and Siyon joins big brother Sekani and big sister Ahvae.

Elias' parents are An Wang and Ian Robertson, of Collegeville. He was born 5 pounds 14 ounces and 19 inches long at 12:09 a.m.
Hugo, born 7 pounds 12 ounces and 21.5 inches at 6:19 a.m., is the second son of Nina and Ryan Smoker, of Philadelphia.
Lastly, Lester was born to Luissiana and Leo Cruz. Lester, the Northeast Philadelphia's first child, was 7 pounds 1 ounce and 18.75 inches and born at 6:16 a.m.
