PHILADELPHIA — A 3-year-old child was shot in the face Sunday evening in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry neighborhood.
According to Fox 29, the shooting occurred at about 5 p.m. on the 1500 block of Taney Street.
A 23-year-old woman was walking and carrying her 3-year-old child when she heard gunshots and ran from the area, Action News reports.

The woman looked down and noticed her child had been shot in the cheek, according to NBC10.
