4 Shot Dead In West Philadelphia Basement: Police

Four bodies were found with single gunshots to their heads in the basement of a West Philadelphia home Monday, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA – The bodies of four people who were shot dead execution style were found in the basement of a West Philadelphia home Monday, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police said the victims were two men – one 31 years old and the other 20 to 30 years old – and two women – one of whom was 20 and the other 30 to 40 years old.

The bodies were found in a home on the 5100 block of Malcolm Street at about 12:03 p.m. Monday after officers were called to the home for a welfare check, according to police.

Police said all four victims had single gunshot wounds to the head and were pronounced dead at the scene at 12:21 p.m.

Neighbors reported hearing loud sounds come from the home Sunday night, according to police.

There have been no arrests made and a weapon has not been found, police said.
