5 Women Presumed Dead Amid Probe Into Pornographic Filmmaker's Former PA Home

PHILADELPHIA — Five women connected to a home in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood are believed to be dead and two others remain missing, police said Wednesday after months of investigation into the house of a dead pornographic filmmaker.

Investigators continue to examine over a million digital images and videos connected to Raymond "R.C." Horsch's former house. Horsch produced adult films that depicted violence. He died last year.

A sprawling investigation opened in June, when Horsch's son, Eugene, was arrested on gun and drug charges. Eugene Horsch remains in federal custody, and he has not been charged in relation to the missing women.

Authorities say they've identified 58 people in the digital evidence, including five women who appear dead or unconscious in the videos. Ten people later died of overdoses at different locations, while 16 were found alive but weren't very cooperative with investigators, police said.

Photos and videos shot inside the home appear to show two women dead, officials told CBS News last month. They were identified as Maribel Fresses, who was last seen in 2018, and Gabrielle Amarando, who went missing in 2012.

Other videos showed the women alive, according to CBS News.

Despite months of investigation, none of the women's remains have been found.

The investigation remains ongoing.
