7 Hurt In Thursday Morning Rowhome Fire: Philadelphia Fire Department

An infant, adults, police officers, and a firefighter were hurt in the Thursday morning fire at a Mayfair rowhome, officials said.

PHILADELPHIA — Seven people, including emergency responders and a young child, were hurt in a Thursday morning fire, the Philadelphia Fire Department said.

The fire broke out before 8 a.m Thursday at a rowhome on the 6300 block of Cardiff Street in the Mayfair section of the city.

Firefighters showed up to the home and found heavy smoke and flames.

After about 30 minutes, the fire was under control, but several people were hurt.

The fire department said those hurt were three adults, an infant, two police officers, and one firefighter. All were treated at the scene then taken to local hospitals.
