7 Month Old Shot Thursday Night In Philadelphia: Police
The child, 7 months old, was shot in the leg Thursday night on the 4000 block of Meridian Street and is in stable condition, police said.
PHILADELPHIA — An infant was shot early Thursday evening in Philadelphia, police said.
The shooting occurred at about 5:51 p.m. on the 4000 block of Meridian Street.
A 7-month-old child was shot in the leg, police said.

The child was taken to Nazareth Hospital, then to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital.
Police said the scene on Meridian Street was held and a blood scene was held on the 7700 block of Frankford Avenue.

Authorities said it appears as though the shooter was firing at the child's mother and father.
Police have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
The suspect was described as a black woman with a heavy build and long dreadlocks. She was wearing a black sweatshirt with large front graphic, light blue jeans, black shoes with white soles.
