81% Of City Workers, Contractors Vaccinated Ahead Of Philadelphia's Friday Deadline

If they don't start their vaccine schedule or obtain an exemption by the end of that 30 days, they will be fired.

Friday marks the deadline for all city workers and contractors in Philadelphia to by fully vaccinated against COVID-19. A city spokesperson told CBS3 that 81% of employees have complied.

That’s around 23,000 people.

Those who fail to comply will go on 30 days of leave. If they don’t start their vaccine schedule or obtain an exemption by the end of that 30 days, they will be fired.
