9 Shot In Philadelphia's Kensington Neighborhood Saturday
At least 40 rounds were fired into a crowd of people early Saturday night at one of Philadelphia's most infamous intersections.
PHILADELPHIA — At least nine people were shot in what is being called a mass shooting Saturday night in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.
According to Action News, the shooting occurred Saturday at 10:45 p.m. at Kensington and Allegheny avenues, one of the city's most infamous intersections due to drug use and sales.
Several men are reported to have pulled up to the intersection in a black vehicle and got out, then started firing into a crowd of people before driving off, NBC10 reports.

Police said the gunmen may have seen someone they wanted to shoot and started firing into the crowd.
Police found at least 40 pieces of ballistic evidence at the scene, according to Fox 29.

Five of the victims are listed in critical condition, NBC reports.
Officers were in the area when gunfire broke out, police said.
"We have some brazen individuals in this city that don't care," Philadelphia Police First Deputy Commissioner John Stanford said. "They don't care how many police officers are out here, and some of them don't care in terms of how many people are out here."
Police said there is no established motive for the shooting and that they are working on gathering video surveillance in the area.
