Free Food, Exclusive Premieres At Adult Swim Festival Block Party In Philadelphia Aug. 5-7
"Wubba lubba dub dub!" Run the Jewels and Flo Milli are among the performers for the first-ever Adult Swim Festival Block Party in Philly.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Boom! Big reveal: The first-ever Adult Swim Festival Block Party is scheduled in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood from Aug. 5-7.
"Ride a hot dog, be a human claw machine, play lawn games, shake it to the beat, all while enjoying your favorite Adult Swim shows," the festival website says.
Musicians and comedy acts will perform at several local venues: The Fillmore Philadelphia, The Foundry, Brooklyn Bowl, and Punch Line Comedy Club.

Music acts include Run the Jewels, Flo Milli, Hop Along, Bia, Eshu Tune (comedian and actor/writer Hannibal Buress), Dethklok, and Philly native Tierra Whack. Comedians include Rosebud Baker, Jo Firestone and Ana Fabrega, Sam Jay, and Craig Conant.

Outside on Allen, Canal, and Laurel streets will be food vendors, a "human claw machine," free treats, and custom craft beer. Exclusive merchandise, and giveaways will go on all weekend long.

Wendy's is giving their Pickle Rick Frosty, which is only described as "a pickle twist on the iconic Frosty," an east coast debut. They'll also give out free Wendy's breakfast. The fast food chain has collaborated with the Adult Swim show "Rick and Morty" in the past.
Klondike will give out free cones, and Other Half Brewing is debuting a limited edition pale ale, called "[adult beer]."
Panels for "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," "Smiling Friends," and "Rick and Morty" at Punch Line Philadelphia have sold out.

The party is open on Friday, Aug. 5 from 4:30-10:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from noon-10:30 p.m.

Adult Swim is "the leader in adult animation and #1 destination for young adults for over fifteen years." Its original and acquired series include "Rick and Morty," "Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal," "The Eric Andre Show," "Three Busy Debras," "Tuca & Bertie," and "Joe Pera Talks With You." An anime block, Toonami, airs on Saturday nights and includes both original series, serialized shows, and reruns of classic shows.
Adult Swim airs nightly on Cartoon Network from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
