Aerosmith Farewell Tour To Make Philadelphia Stop

PITTSBURGH, PA — After a half-century together, legendary rockers Aerosmith on Monday announced their 40-date farewell tour "Peace Out" that will bring them to Philadelphia apparently for the final time.
The band will play at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, Sept. 2. The Black Crowes will be the opening act.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on the Wells Fargo Center website here.

“It’s not goodbye, it’s peace out!” band members stated in a joint announcement. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”
Known for classic rock hits such as "Dream On," "Livin on the Edge," Walk This Way," "Crazy," and "Janie's Got a Gun," the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 and also was the halftime act at the Super Bowl that year.
